It would be wrong to call myself a die hard as i have only recently discovered the world of Hull kingston Rovers, it would be an injustice for all the die hards who have been up and down with the robins for many years experiencing the high & low’s of what being a KR fan is all about to call myself that, however i would class myself as fiercly loyal and in years to come i will be able to put myself amoungst the class of fans that really are die-hards.
an introduction,
Living in hertfordshire, 20 odd miles from central London, i am not idealy positioned to be a Robins man, logically and logisticly i should be a quin, it would be easy access to see the superleague action and alot less hassle for travel but unfortunatley, sport coupled with passion & excitment, doesn’t work logically or logisticaly, when you find your club there is no explaining, it’s in the heart, and runs deep through your veins, it’s an attraction and partnership that only you can understand.
So, im 30, a season ticket holder at craven park, my aim is to go to as many home and away games as possible, i hope in the future i will be able to start my very own fan base from london and organise home and away trips for any rovers fans in and around the london area, that would like to go but dont want to go alone, we are here and we are proud, come on the robins……….

How right you are….you don’t choose your club, it chooses you. It helps if you can oppose some member of your family into the bargain eh? All in the name form friendly rivalry!

Totally agree with Shrewdy, the club chooses you. I love watching SL on Sky but never had a team to follow but that has all changed since a certain friend of mine told me about KR and ever since my first game at the Millenium Staduim i have been hooked. If i cant see the game im always looking for the score.
